'Wilderness exploring' last weekend.

I tried camping, as in complete with tents and sleeping bags, for the very first time last weekend. It was a very good learning experience for me, which is the main reason I am writing this post.

Ubuntu Hibernate Does not Work!

Anyone having trouble with hibernate, resume from hibernate or both on Ubuntu? I had a problem while resuming from a hibernate: the Ubuntu splash screen would show "resuming from /dev/disk/<uuid>" and then just freeze forever. After some googling around I found that many users have problems with hibernate, suspend, and/or resuming from these states.

It also addresses several other possible hibernate/suspend issues.

Why so much hatred...?

Is it just me or has the amount of hatred in the world overflown already? Everyone finds it so convenient to spew such terrible things about the government, the people of the govt., scams, and everything else that all I can see around me is negativity. This is just so depressing!

How many of you have 'dual-boot' computers? Linux with Windows, or more specifically Windows with Ubuntu?

Learning to sit still.

This isn't a new idea at all. I just googled it and found blog posts about it. Same idea, different ways to put it. I'm talking about 'meditation'.
